Written Poetry: I Believe – Daniel ThePoet

Poem Title: I Believe
Written By: Daniel ThePoet
Year: 2021

I heard a voice
Whispering to my ears
I found it challenging to hear the sayings
Because I saw no one
But I kept believing in the invisible man.

I felt a mysterious williwaw
That made my heart to beat faster
Like a dancer who was pressured by a trainer
And that referred me of Adina’s “Na m’akoma reb) me bumbumkyebumbum” song
Where I was burn out for long.

It was very strange to feel
And I also sensed the scene to be real
I had no idea of the journey
Didn’t know why
But my body was ready to take the victory.

The man mentioned his name
Told me he created me in his own image and not for shame
He said, “I am the Lord your God who makes sure you’re not afraid”
I started to rejoice
And I made it clear that He’s indeed God.

I believe in the Supreme Being
The one in charge of our well-being
I will always give him his two
Because he is called Yahweh
And he’s with us everywhere.
