Poem Title: The Call For Freedom|A Wayward Call
Written By: Poet Nazir
Year: 2021
When we are eager seeking the face of Justice
We come along a Justice that’s willing to proof its worth
A man with a dark face who responded to our call
But we look over the bar; pointing at its angst over the wall.
When the sound of peace is belled
At a higher risk, with our face watching
We cry and smile kneeling before Justice
To pardon the crime we claimed to fear.

Because of the populace’s
An Ace in cuffs with the hands in locks
At a place caged with blocks and her fans in shocks
Wherefore shall fame be useless?
Au Naturel is an act we condemn
We fore consider sacredness a solemn
But forget to trek to the path of truth
Where lies and deception spread its mat bridging its root.
If we shall pardon crime and pin our eyes with limes
Intentionally; we act to force the law to break itself
A better judgement is not a judgment in court
But the knowledge to justify what is right & wrong.
